I experienced real Greek food with a modern twist at Vas Kouzina’s newest location. They have two locations. One in downtown Roswell and the newest and largest in Alpharetta. As soon as you walk in I was transported to Greece with the music, the vibe and the food. Whole fish sat on ice at your choice as I made my way to my table. Vas Kouzina Alpharetta is a great place for a date or to bring friends from out of town. I was very impressed with the Saganaki which is a flamboyant cheese that literally bursts into flames. I also enjoyed the grilled Lavraki which is a whole mediterranean sea bass deboned at the table by the chef! The layout is absolutely stunning. Loved being able to do a bit of shopping at the in-store market which is full of Greek oils and other essentials to enhance meals at home. Baklava bites and cheesecake for dessert were the icing on the cake! It was some of the freshest seafood I have ever had. Everything was so tasty and delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. I will definitely come back. Keep reading to find out what I tried at Vas Kouzina Alpharetta.
