2020 was a tough year, followed by 2021, which felt like it had to “outperform” its predecessor. The 12 years were the main victims of these hurricane years; their upbringing whipped into a whirlwind of uncertainty.

These students were the first to endure the COVID lockdowns in grades 11 and 12. They missed face-to-face learning in 2021 for term 3 and 4 and even took trial exams online. The November HSC exams have been delayed for a month and the HSC results, as well as the ATAR, have consequently also been delayed. Many students were overwhelmed with stress and anticipation of finishing a tough school year. The students had to overcome many obstacles, endure many hardships, and give up so much.

St. Spyridon College

Despite all this, the St. Spyridon Year 12 Class of 2021 the results have been phenomenal.
