Leading maritime software provider Duog has hired Kyriakos Papapolydorou to lead business in the growing Greek and Cypriot markets. Kyriakos is a shipping industry professional with over 17 years of experience delivering solutions that support the digital shift in the industry.
According to Duolog’s CEO, Morten Lind-Olsen, the new appointment brings the high-level resource needed to directly serve customers in the region. “We are delighted to have Kyriakos as part of the Duog team. His appointment and our plans for future expansion are a direct response to the growing number of Duog customers in Greece and Cyprus who are happy to be supported locally in the Greek language.
Duolog aims to bring ship and land closer together by providing software solutions that enable the integrated ship, and the company recently announced that over €5 million has been invested in software development to help owners and managers of ships to implement their digital strategies.
Welcoming his appointment, Kyriakos said he looked forward to utilizing his many years of shipping experience in developing and expanding Duog’s footprint in the region. “I’m very impressed with the level of investment that Dualo has put in place in this market,” he said.
“I see a change in Greece and Cyprus with the arrival of the new generation of owners and managers, all willing to seek new and modern solutions. Many of them have already chosen Duog, and I look forward to support and be part of this community,” a smiling Kyriakos added.
