Tornos news | Greek Development Minister predicts GDP growth of at least 5% in 2022


Greek Minister of Development and Investments Adonis Georgiadis predicts that GDP growth in Greece will exceed 5% in 2022, reports.

Georgiadis participated in the first board meeting of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry this year on Wednesday.

According to a statement, the minister outlined the government’s reform initiatives to further strengthen the investment climate and estimated that GDP growth will exceed 5% in 2022.

He pointed out that the combined financial resources that Greece will have this year from various sources to change the country’s productive model will be the highest ever.

Georgiadis explained that these resources will come from the Recovery Fund, the NSRF 2014-20 and 2021-27 programs, the public investment program, as well as private investment through the Development Act.
